AfricanMii: d Project
| AFRICAN Mii Africa, by it’s women. Are you African?! Are you Female?! Do you have an opinion, something, ANYTHING to say?! Then, SAY IT!!! We are putting together a project, currently titled: AFRICAN ME. Africa, by it’s women. It is set to be a collection of articles, columns, short stories, poems and even pictures, written and composed by Africa’s women, of all ages, races, tribes, nations and Religions. All contributions should be in English, as much as possible. French, if necessary. That is the only requirement. Write about your politics or your religion, ((whether Christian, Muslim or traditionalist)). About how you see the world, how you think the world sees you, how you wish the world would see you. Write about poverty and wealth, about how we look, feel, see, live and love. About our parents, our children our friends, lovers, husbands. Write about the war in Iraq, Africa’s first female president, our joys, our pride, our disappointments and our pain. Write about what ever makes YOU as an African female, tick. The world says that the African female, poor, suppressed, could NOT possible be anything but unhappy and discontent, a second class citizen. Are we? Or are we not. It is time we spoke for ourselves. Please Note.... Unfortunately, no financial compensations can be offered at this time, however, when the project comes in to fruition, all authors and contributors will be compensated. The authors will retain the rights to all their works, just let us know if it has been or is published with another anthology and / or publication. Please include a short bio along wit U'r submissions. It should include name, country of birth and current country of residence, age (not necessary) and any other thing U want to add.
