I dare anyone who has a heart
To tell me that some lovers are better off apart,
That some times love is not worth fighting for
And sometimes,
Life is not worth living.
I dare you and I dare them all,
to let all innocence let lost
and to disturb the sound of silence
as it descends in to a grieving heart.
I dare all those who don’t believe,
To understand the power of faith
and the joys to be found in pure belief.
I dare anyone who has a heart.
To look into deep pleading eyes
and hold back that wish
within their powers to grant.
I dare anyone who has a heart
to lay down the claim that a heart of flesh,
Does not shatter to pieces,
like glass.
Like Glass
