African women are discredited to be poor, cannot afford anything that is happening around
the world even within their own location.
WEALTH
Wealth is associated with developed countries like America, European countries who are
able to afford or manufacture their own needs especially hardware, heavy machines that
make advance their development, but in our country Uganda we are still behind in terms of
modern systems. So women don’t have access to resources in order to be able to make
some developments for their homes. Maybe the only thing they can do is to look around to
see what can bring them satisfaction within the house, that’s all.
POVERTY
In most cases in African countries, poverty remains to be one of the major problems. It
creates a lot of differences amongst households. For people who are able to reach in the
level of affording expensive items, have made it to be the worst, because you find someone
living at a very illiterate state unable to afford even a meal a day. But the wealthy ones end
up exploiting the poor.
ORPHANS
This brought in a lot of immorality in many of our communities in Africa especially in
Uganda. Many young girl children, who are orphans, end up in many challenges. They end
up being defiled because there is no proper security for them. Others end up not even
seeing any way of getting into school, so that makes them to remain uneducated. Even
some of the orphans end in a totally disordered way, because there is no way that they can
exercise their rights.
