Excelling Sister
Beauty sought after,
Heart full of laughter,
Duty well done,
Highly exalted horn.
Many have done well,
But you have chosen to excel.

Expensive and precious,
She is fashion conscious.
The intricate fabric of her dress,
Made definitely to impress
Dress of holiness and honor, unfeigned,
Finer than Queens who hitherto reigned.
The bangles on her wrists
Are skills to make silk and feasts
Sound, solid, sparkling necklace
Of strength, humility and grace.
Her lips are painted with wisdom,
She is praised at the gates of he Kingdom.
Her “gele” (crowing glory) is a good man
Who will whole-heartedly trust this woman.
No doubt, many have done well,
But you have chosen to excel.

With the freshness of dew
Gentleness possessed by few
And the warmth of the morning sun,
Through Jesus Christ the Son.
Splashing waterfalls of splendor,
The disarming smile tells all.
Amazing beauty,
Transparent purity
Many have done well, but you have chosen to excel.

And on the prize giving day,
ALL, great and small shall say:
“Blessed art thou amongst women:
Distinguished in the land of men
For though many have done well,

YOU have chosen to excel.
